Yeah, you're right, and agree that Marty makes the right choice. I guess I was just forcing a discussion to happen, but there really is none in that. What I can tell you about ToL is that it pretty routinely faded to black between scenes, because it got to a point where every time it did, I thought, "Oh good! The credits! Finally!"

I'm one of those people who found it to be a laughable moment. What made it go from "Oh, that's silly" to "This is the worst moment in the series", though was how the characters were quoting the lyrics along with the music. I mean I get it; it's in their head, they're all programmed machines, that's fine. Just an artistic disagreement, I suppose. Glad to hear you made it through the whole cast being in an internment camp without getting completely depressed.

haha I actually started to go back and edit in some thoughts on my '33 list after you scolded me for not writing about the films. I haven't finished it yet. I guess it took the post down? Anyway, I'll repost it and try to say something about my '32 list as well.
